We removed the poorly constructed additions from the original Queenslander, allowing us to respectfully build on the traditional pre-war home.

The home has a new presence to the street, allowing a stronger connection to the neighbourhood. The large private rear deck is wrapped with a series of highly detailed, moveable, screened openings along with glazed window bays to protect from the intense Brisbane western sun. Landscape works were completed to allow complete use of the site, including the renovation of an existing kidney shaped pool.

The interiors have a refined material palette – bronze, soft fabrics for built in seats, terrazzo tiles tied together with simple white tiles.

This home will be enjoyed for years to come.
